You and I were there all alone,
In that world so unknown.

We met in an awkward way,
But we came close together,

You told me stories about how you were so free,
But it made me yearn, cause I knew it could never happen to me.

But I suddenly saw you were the one for me,
And it was the way things should be.

You freed my soul into the blazing sunset,
No one could take you away from me, at least not yet.

But you were suddenly pulled away from me,
That wasn't the way things were suppose to be!

I remember the times so sweet,
I remembered you when I went to sleep.

And now here I am in this familiar place,
With you looking down at me with a glowing face.

Here we are once more, to share a life together,
Through Heaven's open doors.
