| 1975 - 1st class survivor Miss Edith Louise Rosenbaum died in London England, UK at the age of 97.
1885 - 1st class survivor Mrs Mary Hélène Douglas was born to James ("Diamond Jim") Baxter (diamond broker and banker) and Hélène de Lanaudière Chaput Baxter in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 1935 - 2nd class survivor Mrs Argene Del Carlo married Sebastiano del Carlo, who was also on the Titanic, in Altopascio, Lucca, Italy. 1974 - 3rd class survivor Miss Laura Mae Cribb died of cerebral thrombosis (stroke) in New Mexico, USA at the age of 78. |

Cast and Crew: Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio, born on November 11, 1974, is one of the hottest stars to rise from the triumph of Titanic. Leonardo is the only son from his parents' marriage that ended in divorce shortly after Leonardo turned two. Turning heads on the small screen as well as the silver screen from a very young age, Leonardo has been in the spolight for most of his adult life. Leonardo has numerous television shows to add to his resume, including, Roseanne (as Darelene's Home Ec classmate), The Outsiders (as Kid Flying Scout), Santa Barbara (as Mason Capwell), The New Lassie (as Lassie's owner's best friend), Growing Pains (as Luke, the homeless child the Seaver's take in) and finally in Parenthood (as Garry Buckmam). Following Leonardo's television stint, he began to film movies. His first movie in 1991 was Critters 3, where he played Josh. Afterward Leo played in Poison Ivy (1992) as Guy; What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (1993) as Arnie Grape, earning Leonardo his first Academy nomination; This Boy's Life (1993) as Toby; The Foot Shooting Party (1995); The Quick and the Dead (1995) as Kid; The Basketball Diaries (1995) as Jim Carroll; Total Eclipse (1995) as Arthur Rimbaud; Romeo + Juliet (1996) as Romeo Montague; Marvin's Room (1996) as Hank; Titanic (1997) as Jack Dawson; The Man in the Iron Mask (1998) as King Louis XIV and Philippe; Celebrity (1998) as Brandon Darrow; Don's Plum (1998) as Derek; The Beach (2000) as Richard; The Gangs of New York (2001) as Amsterdam Vallon. Leonardo currently owns a house in California, but has been spending the majority of his time in New York City. In the year 2000 Leonardo emceed the Earth Day celebration on the Mall in Washington D.C. and was given a chance to interview the President of the United States for national television. |
