| 1975 - 1st class survivor Miss Edith Louise Rosenbaum died in London England, UK at the age of 97.
1885 - 1st class survivor Mrs Mary Hélène Douglas was born to James ("Diamond Jim") Baxter (diamond broker and banker) and Hélène de Lanaudière Chaput Baxter in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 1935 - 2nd class survivor Mrs Argene Del Carlo married Sebastiano del Carlo, who was also on the Titanic, in Altopascio, Lucca, Italy. 1974 - 3rd class survivor Miss Laura Mae Cribb died of cerebral thrombosis (stroke) in New Mexico, USA at the age of 78. |

Script: Cut Scenes: Have to get to America
EXT. COLLAPSIBLE A / OCEAN The boat is overloaded and half-flooded. Men cling to the sides in the water. Others, swimming, are drawn to it as their only hope. Cal, standing in the boat, slaps his oar in the water as a warning. CAL Stay back! Keep off! Fabrizio, exhausted and near the limit, makes it almost to the boat. Cal CLUBS HIM with the oar, cutting open his scalp. FABRIZIO You don't... understand... I have... to get... to America. CAL (pointing with the oar) It's that way! CLOSE ON FABRIZIO as he floats, panting each breath agony. You see the spirit leave him. FABRIZIO'S POV: Cal in SLOW MOTION, yelling and wielding the oar. A demon in a tuxedo. The image fades to black. Why this scene was cut: Cal was already hated enough for having used a little girl to get himself a spot on a lifeboat. This scene might have made him more negative than was believable or necessary. |
