1975 - 1st class survivor Miss Edith Louise Rosenbaum died in London England, UK at the age of 97.

1885 - 1st class survivor Mrs Mary Hélène Douglas was born to James ("Diamond Jim") Baxter (diamond broker and banker) and Hélène de Lanaudière Chaput Baxter in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

1935 - 2nd class survivor Mrs Argene Del Carlo married Sebastiano del Carlo, who was also on the Titanic, in Altopascio, Lucca, Italy.

1974 - 3rd class survivor Miss Laura Mae Cribb died of cerebral thrombosis (stroke) in New Mexico, USA at the age of 78.

Wilde went to sea as a young man and served his apprenticeship on the sailing vessels of Messers. James Chambers and Co., Liverpool. He joined White Star as a junior officer and served on the Arabic, Celtic, Medic, and Cymric. He held the extra masters certificate and was a Lietenant in the Royal Naval Reserve. In 1911, he became Chief Officer of the Olympic.

Wilde's wife died December 24, 1910, his twin sons did as well. He was survived by 4 children; Jane, Harry, Arnold, and Nancy and a sister.

Wilde signed onto the the Titanic on April 9, 1912. On the day of the sinking little is known until the collision where he joined the Captain and Thomas Andrews on an inspection of the ship. He then took care of the even numbered boats, on the port side of the ship. He was last seen trying to free the collapsibles A and B from the roof of the officers quarters. His body was never found.
