1885 - 1st class survivor Mrs Mary Hélène Douglas was born to James ("Diamond Jim") Baxter (diamond broker and banker) and Hélène de Lanaudière Chaput Baxter in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 1935 - 2nd class survivor Mrs Argene Del Carlo married Sebastiano del Carlo, who was also on the Titanic, in Altopascio, Lucca, Italy. 1974 - 3rd class survivor Miss Laura Mae Cribb died of cerebral thrombosis (stroke) in New Mexico, USA at the age of 78. |

Characters: Jack Dawson
A free spirit that travels the world like a "tumbleweed blowin' in the wind," Jack Dawson has been independent from a young age. He was born and raised in Lake Wissota until his parents died, leaving him an orphan at 15. He wandered the globe by working on tramp steamers and drawing portraits in Santa Monica. He befriended other travellers, Parisian prostitutes, and immigrants along the way. Jack's art joins the "Ash Can" movement, which depicts ordinary vignettes of average people's lives.
Because he is following his heart through life, he occasionally has to sleep under a bridge. However, his luck has brought him aboard Titanic, and into the life of a gorgeous upperclass woman, Rose DeWitt Bukater. Does Jack have ulterior motives to get close to Rose and her belongings, or will this fateful encounter lead to true love? |
