Characters: Brock Lovett
The strong and determined Brock Lovett is secretly in search of the Heart of the Ocean, a diamond necklace that he believes went down with the RMS Titanic. It is a secret mission because he does not want competition to find the rare jewel that would be worth more than the Hope Diamond. His ambition has made him press on with repeated dives to the wreck, but to no avail. His financial backers are getting worried, his wife has left him, and with each expensive day spent on the Russian ship Keldysh, Brock is getting desperate.
New hope appears on the ocean floor in the form of the thoroughly rusted and crumbling safe from Caledon Hockley's suite. However when the necklace is not inside, will Brock Lovett's determination crumble too?
